After living in London for four years I finally took the time to visit St Paul’s Cathedral in 2015. St Paul’s is by far one of the most iconic buildings in London and what it contains is just as impressive.
For £18 you can gain access to the Cathedral, as well as their exhibition and the opportunity to climb to the top of the Cathedral. I would recommend getting there early, wearing comfortable shoes and making sure you’re fit enough for all the stairs.
If you get there at the right time you can also sign up for one of their free guided tours, the volunteers who run these tours are incredibly knowledgeable and without a doubt, it brings the Cathedral to life.
Although a tourist hot spot, this is an absolute must see and will give you fascinating insight into London’s history and St Paul’s Cathedral architect, Christopher Wren.
