The Grant Museum of Zoology houses around 68,000 specimens, covering the whole Animal Kingdom.
My favourite specimen, the Jar of Moles, really makes the place worth a visit. If you’re fascinated by science, taxidermy, extinct animals and the history of specimen collection then the Grant Museum is the place to visit.
The Museum volunteers and staff ensure to make the Museum as interesting as possible for young children, and there’s often plenty of events and activities taking place to make it worth a visit.
Better yet, the Museum is free, and therefore a fantastic rainy day activity.
